
Health Care Professionals
Are you a Nurse, Doctor, Hospital or Clinic Personnel? Are you a Dental Assistant? BCLS is available to meet the needs of your employer. BCLS is typically offered in a four-hour period. You will be trained to recognize and respond to a variety of life-threatening emergencies. Training will focus on providing 1 and 2 rescuer CPR for adults, children and infants. Education is provided for use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Lastly, you are taught to recognize signs and symptoms of choking and how to relieve choking. All training provided is based upon the latest American Heart Association 2020 guidelines.

Community Classes
If you are an individual with little or no medical training, there are course options available for you. Maybe you are a new parent or work at a day care or work at a school there are many course options available. One the most common classes is the Heart Saver course. You will be taught how to recognize life threatening emergencies and perform CPR and use the AED until EMS assistance arrives. Training can be provided at a public location such as a Library, Church, Day Care or a Social Hall. 1 on 1 training with an instructor is also available. Additional courses are available.
